Deep ruby red with hints of violet. Mature fruity notes on the nose with hints of spice and balsamic from its aging. On the palate, this oak aged mix of Garnacha and Tempranillo grape varieties is soft and well-structured with a long lasting aftertaste.

This Merlot based blend grown in the arid, stony soils of the famed Gimblett Gravels has long been a speciality of Esk Valley. With perfectly ripened fruit and custom made concrete fermenters we have produced a smooth and full bodied signature style, bursting with flavours of blackcurrant, dried herbs, plums and blackberry.
