Nobody has more experience growing grapes in Marlborough than Allan Scott. Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.
Pure with a delicate structure, finishing crisp and dry. On the palate, stonefruit and pear flavours dominate, followed up with a touch of citrus at the finish.
Classic pear and ginger aromas with white fleshed peach and a hint of rose.Ripe apple on entry mingle with peach and other stone fruits on the lush and textured mid-palate. Juicy and fresh, but plenty of warmth and a long spicy finish.

Appealing ripe pear, peach, rose water and ginger spice aromas are evident on the nose. On the palate the wine is lush and full bodied with a moderate level of sweetness, balanced by gentle acidity and a touch of ginger spice on the finish.
