A seasonal adaptation with a delightful cinnamon & sugar rim, that can be made as a single serve or in a pitcher if you’ve got friends around. Quantities given are for a single serve & a pitcher that makes 8.
You will need:
- 45ml / 1 1/2 cups tequila
 - 60ml / 2 cups apple cider
 - 20ml 3/4 cup Cointreau or Triple Sec
 - 20ml 3/4 cup Lime Juice
 - Cinnamon & sugar for the rim
 - Ice
 - Star anise, cinnamon stick or slice of apple to garnish
 
To make:
- Run a wedge of lime around the edge of a glass, then dip the rim into a plate of cinnamon & sugar
 - Place all ingredients into a shaker & fill with ice
 - Shake until cold, then strain into the glass with the sugar rim.
 - Fill the glass with ice, then garnish & serve
 
For a pitcher - put all the ingredients into a pitcher, add 3 handfuls of ice & stir until cold. Prepare the glasses seperately, then add 2/3 cup to each glass, top with ice, garnish & serve.
