The Dark Hefeweizen is such a journey of flavours it's like a degustation. Aromas of fresh bread, and banana. A soft mouth feel with sweet malt and more banana. Plus layers of chocolate, toffee and caramel, that gradually give way to a clean, slightly tart finish. When pouring, we suggest you hold back a drop, ceremoniously dump on top- for a lovely creamy head. Bon appetit. Or as they say in Germany, guten appetit.

After a hard day's fighting to the death in the Colosseum, you deserve something a bit special. Gladiator Bock is so decadent it's fit for an emperor's plaything. Rich, dark, and a little bit strong. The blend of five malts meld together beautifully over many weeks, to deliver an indulgent ruby-brown Spartacus of a brew. It's not for the faint of heart, or the faint of taste bud.

Lost in Space features an all-American line-up of Azacca, El Dorado and Mosaic hops, making for a rich flavour, with spicy mango, stone fruit and a crisp citrus finish. The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

Be a rebel without much of a cause. This Irish Red Ale makes being a revolutionary easier than ever, thanks to the smooth, clean, dry taste, with hints of chocolate, and red berries. Of course, like any good insurgent, it has an ever-so-slight bitterness, only with a lingering malty finish. But the only uprising that's really necessary is the lifting of the can.

Officially, this is a Mexican-style lager. But you could think of it as a Dunedin Cerveza. A very refreshing beer from a city that could hardly be further south of the border. It's crisp, with a malty backbone, subtle hop flavours, and just a hint of citrus but feel free to add a fresh slice of your own. Now you know what they've always known down there: nothing beats an ice-cold Sunny Day.

Emerson's have been releasing this exquisite spiced ale every year since George's passing, releasing it on March 6th, George's birthday, and this 20th edition is a little bit special. Emerson's ramped up the recipe, to make it a real collector's edition. Normally weighing in at around 6.6% ABV, this wee special edition rocks in at 9%... Emerson's think George will approve. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a secret ingredient (coriander, oops, don't tell anyone) mixed with a bucket load of Otago clover honey. The combination of spices and malt evokes flavours reminiscent of baking 'hot-cross' buns... mmmm, but in a beer. A refreshingly lively lager with hints of tropical, fruit like notes and a mild bitterness. DB Export 33 has an ABV of 4.6%. This full flavoured lager was launched in 2008 and named 'Best Low Carbohydrate Beer in New Zealand' in 2009 and 2010 at the NZ Beer Awards. It also became the first New Zealand low carb beer to win a Gold medal at the prestigious Monde Selection awards in Belgium in 2010, winning Gold again in 2011.
